Attacks on scheduled communities by the so - called dominant caste near Bhuvanagiri, Cuddalore district, is highly condemnable ! 
State Secretary Mrs. Sneha Mohandas , Makkal Needhi Maiam , strongly expresses dissent!

It is disheartening to note that ,a group of people belonging to the scheduled class were attached by the so - called privileged class. The incident occured in Sathapoadi in Bhuvanagiri, Cuddalore. 

As the group of under privileged were carrying an idol on a procession , with a particular hit song blaring through the speakers, they were attacked for playing that song in question.Further to that , the attackers did not allow the injured to board the ambulance. Infact , the ambulance was blocked and the injured were further attacked. The attackers must be arrested immediately! 

Have we stooped so low, that even a film song has caste affinity? 
Unless we, as people, consciously take steps ,along with the government, to stop such detestable acts, we cannot look forward to a better society for the next generation
